Saket, After the Return
Under Raghav’s rule, Saket became known for expanding canal works and steady trade with neighboring kingdoms. That prosperity sat alongside a drought remembered in court record as Vritra’s Curse, one of the defining crises of the reign.

Matsya
A western kingdom visited during drought relief efforts. The severity of Vritra’s Curse became clear here, and the crisis tested the resolve of the royal family.
Madhupura
A troubled borderland, contested by the raider Lavanasura and his followers. Supply caravans passing through required military escort. Present Mathura.
Amarkan
Home to Valmiki’s ashram — a settlement of sages rather than kings around the source of the river Narmada. The home where Sita passes values to the next Raghuvamshi generation.
Kashi
An ally secured through diplomacy during Raghav’s reign.
Vatsa
A former ally whose friendship deteriorated over the course of the reign.
Trikuta, After the War
Lanka remained an ally and wealthy maritime power after the war and kept up trade relations with Saket — skilled physicians and precious goods among the exchanges recorded between the two courts.
A Note on the Drought Years
Court record calls it Vritra’s Curse — failed rains, strained canals, disease among the laborers building them. Will Saket survive this?
